Shipping & Returns

  • Various shipping options will be displayed during check out and may be limited depending on your location. If you place your order before 2 pm EST it will normally be shipped the same day, and any orders after then will be shipped the following day. Once your order has been dispatched you will be able to track it with your personal parcel tracking number.

    Delivery times will vary depending on your location, with regional areas often taking a bit longer.

    It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details and personal contact information at the time of ordering. We are not responsible for orders that have not arrived due to an incorrect address provided at the time of placing an order. It is your responsibility to inform us promptly if an order does not arrive either by emailing agatha@thewoodpeople.com.au. Once we learn an order has not arrived within a reasonable period we will lodge an enquiry with the courier, and advise you accordingly.

  • Currently, the website is only set for the UK, US, and New Zealand. If you are located elsewhere please reach out and something can be organised.

  • The Wood People will not accept returns due to change of mind. Should your order have been damaged during the shipping process, we will lodge the relevant enquiries with the courier service used.

    All of our products are handmade, therefore, there may be slight variations in every piece. As each piece is also made of a natural material, there will also be variations in the textures of the wood. These variations are part of the handmade beauty and not considered a fault. We try to accurately display all product images to represent the final finish, however, if there is a significant discrepancy between the representation and the finished product please contact us to arrange a replacement or credit. Please refer to the Product Care page for all information about the make, use, and protection of each timber piece.

    We do not accept stockist returns of unsold goods, change of mind or pattern preference on natural materials. We do not accept returns on sale items.egins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • We inspect and pack our products carefully to ensure that you receive them in the best condition possible. Each order is packed in a sufficient amount of protective wrapping, and sent in a rigid cardboard box. Damages will be rare, but if you do receive your order and it is damaged please contact us at agatha@thewoodpeople.com.au within 5 days of receiving your order to arrange a replacement.

  • We may provide special offers in relation to our goods from time to time, such as free shipping, order discounts or product discounts. We may also run sales events on the site. All sales are final and unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

    We may terminate any special offers or sales without advance notice at any time.

    Unless otherwise stated, all promotional codes have a 6-month expiration date, and e-vouchers are valid for 12-months. Vouchers and discounts are limited to single-use per customer.

  • All prices displayed on the site are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST unless otherwise stated, but exclude shipping charges and customs duty and other taxes, if applicable. All prices are subject to change without notice.

    All transactions are processed in AUD. We accept Visa and MasterCard, PayPal or Stripe. We do not accept personal or corporate cheques or cash.

  • All goods are offered for sale subject to available stock. If an item is out of stock, we may contact you to offer a substitute. If you do not want a substitute item and your credit card or PayPal account has been charged for an item that is out of stock, we will cancel your order and issue a credit to your credit card or PayPal account.
